How we research
Our help articles, comparisons and research are written by ROMER research. They describe other funded-trader firms’ rules and prices, so they have to be right, dated and easy to check.
Where the facts come from
Each rule and price comes from the firm’s own pages: its rules, help centre, terms and pricing pages. We quote the firm’s wording exactly where the wording matters, link the page and list every source at the bottom. Each page shows the date its facts were last checked.
When a firm’s site blocks automated checks, we read the page in a browser or use a copy saved by the Internet Archive, and the page says which and when.
Prices
We use list prices. Firms often advertise discount codes, which change by the day, so we leave coupon prices out.
Our stake
ROMER is a funded-trader program, and we publish these pages. That’s a conflict of interest, and we handle it in the open:
- every comparison names ROMER as the publisher;
- our own terms sit beside the other firm’s, marked as planned;
- each comparison says where the other firm fits a trader better;
- in lists, we put ROMER after the other firms and say why.
Keeping pages current
Firms change their rules, sometimes every month, so we recheck pages and update the date when we do. A rule that decides whether you’ll be paid is worth confirming on the firm’s own site before you act on it.
Tools
We use software, including AI tools, to collect pages and draft text. Every rule, price and quote is checked against the firm’s own page before it’s published.
Corrections
If we’ve got something wrong, email [email protected] with the page and a link to the firm’s current wording. We’ll check it, fix the page and update its date.
