How Tradeify’s program works

Tradeify is a futures prop firm, and its home page reports “$350M+” in verified payouts, a figure the firm publishes itself. It also runs Tradeify247, for trading crypto and other tokenized assets around the clock, and a forex program, Tradeify FX. This comparison covers the futures program.

Every futures account is a one-time purchase with no activation fee (pricing reference). At $50K a Growth evaluation costs $145 and a Select evaluation $165, and Lightning Funded, which skips the evaluation, costs $492. The Growth evaluation has no consistency rule, so you can pass it in one day, while Select applies a 40% consistency rule during the evaluation only. The FAQs list Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView as platforms, and the pricing reference adds Rithmic-based platforms such as Tradesea, and WealthCharts.

Passing gives you a Sim Funded account, and the home page is plain about what that means: “You’re trading on simulated capital, so the money in your bank account is never on the line.” Payouts are real money, and you keep 90%. On a $50K Growth account, each payout needs five trading days with more than $150 profit and a 35% consistency rule, and the first request is capped at $1,500 (Growth payout policy). Select accounts can instead take a daily payout path.

The route to real capital is Tradeify Elite. You can be considered after three payouts on one account, or ten payouts across all your accounts, and the Elite rules say these are “the minimum requirements for consideration, not automatic qualification.” Elite Live accounts start at a $0 balance, and profits are split 80/20. The statistics on Tradeify’s home page show that 3.0% of traders with a funded account were called up to live between August 2025 and July 2026.

Bots, HFT and servers at Tradeify

Tradeify allows bots under conditions set out in its guidelines for traders. You must be able to prove that you are “the sole owner of the bot or strategy”, and Tradeify says it scans for similar orders on other accounts and “will also require a live video of you enabling the code on your own PC.” You may run the bot “on your personal accounts”, but using it across multiple firms is against its policy. The rule on speed is one line: “Personal bots are allowed as long as they are not high-frequency trading (HFT) bots.”

Funded accounts add a rule on holding time. To request a payout, over 50% of your trades must last longer than 10 seconds, and over 50% of your profit must come from those trades. Missing the rule blocks the payout without failing the account. Tradeify gives its reason: “Trades executed in less than 10 seconds are difficult to reliably replicate or copy”, and it is looking for traders who “can be called up to live to eventually be copied by our own firm as well.” Its compliance FAQ lists “use of prohibited high-frequency systems” among the things that can prompt a review. Tradeify is one of the firms in our HFT comparison that set a hold-time rule alongside an HFT ban.

A VPS is allowed once you are in. The FAQs put it in two sentences: “You cannot log in with VPN/VPS. After logging in normally, you may use VPS for trading at your own risk.” The Terms of Use ban a VPS or remote environment where it “obscures, alters, masks, or prevents Tradeify from reliably verifying the user’s device, network, location, identity, or account activity.”

How ROMER differs

ROMER is our funded-trader program for algorithmic and high-frequency traders. Every ROMER term on this page is planned.

Bots, algos and HFT are allowed at every stage, including once an algo trades real capital. Spoofing and other manipulative trading aren’t allowed, we monitor every order, and the exchange’s message limits apply.

Your algo runs on our hardware inside the exchange’s data centre, an arrangement called colocation, so you don’t need a VPS or servers of your own. Our latency design target is under 1 microsecond, against roughly 30 milliseconds for a home internet connection to a simulator, and both figures are illustrative.

Two stages come before real capital. Stage 1 is a simulated evaluation over at least 3 trading days. Then comes Stage 2, Verification, in which your algo must pass again over at least 10 new trading days. Fills are still simulated, and the aim is to show that the Stage 1 result wasn’t luck. The best algos then trade our own capital on the real exchange. Traders are independent contractors who keep 80% of real profits, and funding isn’t guaranteed.

ROMER is built for futures and digital-asset derivatives. Planned pricing, which may change, is $249 a month for the $50K Pro plan, with no activation fee, a 6% profit target, a 4% trailing maximum loss and a 2% daily loss limit. Tradeify’s $50K evaluations are paid once, and our monthly fee covers running your algo on our hardware at the exchange. Our planned 80% share matches the split on Tradeify Elite Live and is below the 90% on its Sim Funded accounts.

Which one to pick

Tradeify suits futures traders who want a one-time price with no activation fee. It also works for a bot trader who owns the code outright and whose trades mostly last longer than 10 seconds.

ROMER is aimed at the strategies Tradeify’s rules exclude, meaning HFT bots and algos whose edge lies in trades shorter than its 10-second threshold.

Quick answers

Does Tradeify allow bots?

Yes, with conditions. You must be able to prove you are the sole owner of the bot or strategy, you may not use it at other firms, and it must not be a high-frequency trading bot. Tradeify may ask for a live video of you enabling the code on your own PC.

What is Tradeify's 10-second rule?

On funded accounts, over 50% of your trades must last longer than 10 seconds, and over 50% of your profit must come from those trades. If you miss it you can't request a payout, but the account doesn't fail. The rule doesn't apply during an evaluation.

Can I use a VPS at Tradeify?

Partly. Tradeify says "You cannot log in with VPN/VPS. After logging in normally, you may use VPS for trading at your own risk." Its terms ban a VPS that stops it verifying your device, network, location or identity.
